Begin your experience with a narrated tour through historic Juneau, as you make your way to North Douglas Island. Hop in your two-person craft and set off to travel the same coastal waterways as the famed Aleut Indians did in search of pelts, for the Russian fur trading companies.
The stable, yet nimble kayaks will allow silent approach to wildlife in the area, common sights are, bald eagles, herons, shorebirds and waterfowl. Loved our driver and the team was enthusiastic and energetic. Would suggest bringing an extra layer and gloves for changes in weather. Got a bit cold on water and was a bit underdressed due to the sin out before we left.
