Skydiving is life's ultimate thrill. It's a true test for the brave, the adventure and rush by which all others are measured. Amazingly, the buzz of free fall is an easy and safe experience, especially during a tandem skydiving adventure.

On the ground you'll be suited up in skydiving gear and your professional skydiving instructor will run through a few "dirt dives" - practice skydiving from exits from mock aircraft. You'll also be taught the skydiving basics of canopy control and safe landing procedures.

Once you're confident with this skydiving knowledge you'll enjoy a 25-minute flight to an altitude of 18,000ft. (The height of 10.5 Sears Towers). After a final check, it's time to hop out and take the quickest way back to Earth via a 90 second free fall.

Reaching speeds of 120mph this is the ultimate open air thrill. The feeling is often described as floating on a cushion of air as you free fall through the sky for over 90 seconds. Once the parachute is deployed you will encounter and intensely serene experience combined with views you have never witnessed before.

This is the perfect time to reflect on the high adrenaline skydiving adventure you've just enjoyed. During the glide down to earth you'll be taught to control your direction and descent speed and once you touch down, you'll be thinking about your jump for weeks.
