Don't taunt the alligator until after you've crossed the creek .- Dan Rather
The captain fires up the "fan" and the mighty whir makes you wonder if the boat is just going to levitate right into the sultry southern sky. Then off you go, zipping like a skipping stone along the top of the water, the speed intensified by the wind in your face. Reeds and weeds and swamp trees whip past and tropical birds flap into flight... but all the while you're just looking for one thing... GATORS! Book your airboat tour today!

How does an airboat ride work?
An airboat ride takes place on a flat-bottomed vessel that is propelled by a giant fan. All that power does produce higher than regular noise levels, so we make sure all guests are equipped with hearing protection equipment.
How fast do airboat tours go?
Some airboats can top out at 130 mph but we leave that to pros. On these airboat rides, you can expect to peak at 40 mph which is still more than enough to get your heart pumping!
How many people can fit on an airboat?
Depending on the boats going out that day and the different group sizes we have, you can expect anywhere from 6 to 20 people total on an airboat ride.
