Name:Scott McLoughlin, Chairman and Founder

Scott McLoughlin co-founded Adrenaline in 1997. He oversees strategic development efforts leading to creation of new products and services that use emerging technologies to solve customer challenges and open new markets. A veteran of software startups, McLoughlin specializes in harnessing new technology to create new solutions. Prior to co-founding Adrenaline, he managed development of FreeLoader, Inc.'s award-winning Internet push technology platform. After it was named ZDNet's Best of Breed product, FreeLoader was eventually sold for $38 million. At the Futures Group, McLoughlin implemented the State Department's first client/server RDBMS-based system, which still manages billions of dollars in worldwide U.S. food aid. As co-founder and CTO of Conscious Computing, he designed and implemented LinkLisp, an embedded Common Lisp compiler and virtual machine for Windows. At Envision Software, he helped develop Tools, a database monitoring and diagnostic tool. McLoughlin serves on the Board of the D.C. Technology Council, and is co-chairman of its CEO Forum. He holds a BA in philosophy from Harvard University.

Name:Greg DuPertuis, President & CEO

Greg DuPertuis co-founded Adrenaline with Scott McLoughlin. As the Group's chief operating officer, he oversees its financial, administrative, infrastructure and daily operating needs. DuPertuis draws on his extensive software development and consulting experience to help organizations design products and manage computing resources. As a consultant for the Federal Aviation Administration, he led teams evaluating wide area network architectures, client/server development, system capacity planning and modeling systems, and large application ports and conversions. In the early 1990s, he developed new applications for pen-based computers, working with Microsoft and Superscript. Before co-founding Adrenaline, DuPertuis also served FreeLoader as Director of Application Development for its award-winning offline browser. He was recently appointed to the Steering Committee of the District's newly-formed Digital Capital Alliance. DuPertuis holds a BS in mathematics from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Name:Alden Hart, Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, Alden Hart oversees technology projects, teams and partnerships for Adrenaline, its partners and clients. He also leads the System Architecture practice group. Hart has spent 20 years in technology start-ups, developing or managing development of real-time and mission critical software, telecommunications and transaction processing systems. Prior to Adrenaline, Hart had been Vice President of Software Development for CyberCash, Inc., an Internet payments company where he was responsible for system architecture, projects and teams, and technology partnerships. CyberCash transaction processing systems now handle hundreds of millions of dollars in monthly e-commerce traffic from over 15,000 online merchants, the largest collections system on the Internet. He has developed many online services delivery solutions, as well as embedded systems for digital music, medical research, industrial quality control and aircraft collision avoidance. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Duke University.

Name:Rick Garvin, Senior Vice President, Technology Advisory Services

As the head of Adrenaline's Technology Advisory Services, Rick Garvin places a strong emphasis on employing methodologies as a way to simplify complex problems. Garvin draws from 16 years experience in building new technology companies and managing, architecting, implementing, and building high-end technology systems.
Prior to Adrenaline, Garvin was Vice President, Product Development at Opion, Inc., an Internet intelligence technology startup. As a member of the executive team, he was responsible for defining the business plan and managing product management, system engineering, professional services, pre-sales engineering and system architecture teams. Previously, he was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of e-biz (Electronic Business, Inc.), a startup focused on electronic commerce strategic consulting and system architecture consulting. After growing the company from zero to a backlog of $2 million, Garvin negotiated the sale of e-biz to TeleComputing ASA, a Norwegian ASP building a presence in the US. He transitioned to Vice President, Internet Engineering at TeleComputing, and was responsible for all product development and product management activities for web-based ASP products.
Earlier, Garvin was Vice President of Engineering for BTG, achieving this position 12 years after starting as a junior member of the technical staff. At BTG, he was actively involved in M&A for more than ten successful acquisitions, including successfully creating a commercial Internet business unit. Garvin holds a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park.

Name:Wayne Bovier, Senior Vice President of New Product Development

Wayne Bovier joined Adrenaline in October 1997 as employee #3 and has spent the last 10 years working for Internet technology companies. Bovier specializes in the ideation, construction, and delivery of consumer-focused software products in the finance and investment, publishing and media, enterprise technology, and education industries. He has personally designed, built, and managed new software products for Triumph Learning, Broadsoft Communications, Covad Communications, eStudentLoan, MotleyFool, and Verisign to name a few.
Before joining Adrenaline, Bovier worked for Wired Digital as Production Manager for LiveWired, an advanced browser-based dynamic content system. In only 3 months, Bovier's team delivered a publically downloadable interactive channel that was published daily while working closely with Microsoft developers and their latest alpha and beta Internet Explorer 4.0 releases. LiveWired now has a permanent display in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Bovier also worked for FreeLoader, Inc., the first company to offer a Web-based push service, as Product Manager of FreeLoader Television, one of the first fully interactive and multimedia screen savers. Bovier is a graduate of Dickinson College with a BA in English and is currently working on obtaining an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Bovier remains active in the Washington, D.C. high-tech community and personally assists a number of local high-tech start-ups in his spare time.

Name:Doug Palmer, Director of Finance

Doug Palmer serves Adrenaline with over ten years finance and operational
experience. Prior to joining Adrenaline in FY 2000, Palmer served a wide
range of clients in both an audit and consulting capacity and worked on two
international assignments at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Palmer managed audit
and consulting engagements for the firm's multi-national clients in Cairo,
Egypt. Palmer also served global clients out of the firm's Washington, DC
office and participated in a one-year international exchange at the firm's
Johannesburg, South Africa office. Palmer holds a BS in Accounting from the
University of Maryland and is a licensed CPA.
